Let Slumber Wait..

"Don't close, cage us not,

 Don't let darkness creep in..", they pleaded.

Like a moonbeam

In the vast, dark sky they shone. 

When the world around slumbered

They tarried, curtains drawn,

Playing before me endless slides

Of fantastic beasts, mermaids and monsters.

The light to my soul

The guide to my spirit

Shine on...and

Let slumber wait..
