The tap leaked

He said he was gonna leave

It was alright because 

I only heard the tap leak.

Plop plop plop

The tap leaked

He packed his bags and

Waited for me to call him back

But I only cared

About the leak in the tap.

Plop plop plop

The tap leaked

He left a note folded behind

But I couldn't care less

Because the tap leaked.

Plop plop plop

The tap leaked

With quivering hands I opened the note - 

"I still love you".

With a wrench I broke the tap.

He's gone but I care now

For I can't hear the tap leak.
